About Wedding Belle Rev

Congratulations on your engagement and your decision that life with your partner is way better than life without. You have decided to legally formalize your union and shout to the world: “This is my husband!” or “This is my wife!” Wonderful!

Headshot Of Kristen

Rev. Kristen Barner, MDiv of Wedding Belle Rev would be honored to:
Officiate your wedding…
Bless your Same-Sex Holy Union…
Help you renew your vows…
Bless your Christening/Naming Ceremony for your child…*

I am based in Charleston, SC but yes, I DO travel if that’s what you need…

The short of it is this:
I am an ordained minister in the United Church of Christ (like Presbyterian or Methodist but a little more progressive) and I have a husband and two dogs. I'm from Virginia but moved back to Charleston with my husband after serving a church for four years in Arizona. My undergrad is from Mary Baldwin College (English, Theater, Secondary Ed) and I have a Master of Divinity in Theology (emphasis in homiletics and political and religious ethics) from Pittsburgh Theological Seminary. I have lived in Scranton, Pittsburgh, Staunton, Americus, Ghana, Phoenix and now Charleston. Of all these places, Staunton and Charleston are home. My husband is an actor and we are super close to our families. A few of my favorite things in the world are boogie boarding at Folly Beach and listening to African drumming. And weddings.

*I am also available for funerals, memorial services, and other ministerial services. Please let me know what your needs are and I will certainly assist you.

You’ve helped me be in love day in and day out because I witness your love, day in and day out.  This is a peculiar kind of ministry we have formed together.
